A few weeks ago while talking to my mentor Priscilla, I jokingly mentioned i wanted to shoot some portfolio in California. Not thinking i would even have the chance to, Pri was immediately interested in helping me out. She helped me develop a story and look, Pulled all her strings to help acquire a model and a MUA/Hair girl. The shoot was one of the best experiences of my photo life! Pri assisted me during the shoot and helped direct when i couldn't find the right words (even got surfers to get in on some shots!). I learned so much and feel so confident in what I'm doing now. The model, Faith Bentley, was wonderful! We all had great female chemistry together and i got everything i wanted out of the shoot. I feel so lucky to have gotten this opportunity, and to know that my mentor sees something in me that is worth working with. All i can say is THANK YOU, Seriously!
I am not posting many of the images as i want my portfolio to be a bit of a surprise towards the end of the summer. But here is a few images to tide you over.

California: Pacific Beach
Its been about a month into this internship and i am loving it here in San Diego, CA. This area and California is everything i thought it would be. It is sunny and breezy nearly every day, the scenery is amazing as well. The people here are very laid back and cool. Over the weekend i decided to take a few photos at Pacific Beach (or called PB here), which is in walking distance of where i am living. I really wanted to show some of the little things at the beach along with my favorite spot under Crystal Pier. Hope you enjoy
